OPUS metadata FAQs

What can I see in a OPUS file?

We surface Opus comments (encoder, replaygain, titles), embedded pictures when present, and bitrate/channel layout/duration without altering the OGG-wrapped Opus stream.

Do you change or recompress my OPUS file?

No. The viewer only reads metadata from your OPUS file and shows it back—streams, pixels, and content stay untouched.

What if my OPUS file has little or no metadata?

Some OPUS files ship with minimal fields. We show everything present—if a tag is missing (like GPS or author), there simply isn't any data to display.

Can I verify attachments or previews in a OPUS?

Yes. If the OPUS contains embedded previews, cover art, fonts, or thumbnails, we surface those entries so you know what ships with the file.

Can I copy the OPUS metadata for documentation?

You can copy the on-screen results to include in tickets, audits, or delivery notes without modifying the original OPUS.
